Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan’s National Centre for Knowledge and Innovation in Agriculture has agreed to develop cooperation with Serbian company Kalem Voće Miladinović on training agricultural specialists and introducing modern technologies in fruit growing.

During a meeting, representatives of the centre and the company discussed opportunities to learn from Serbia’s experience in fruit tree cultivation and nursery development.

Particular attention was given to organising training courses, practical seminars and knowledge exchange programmes for participants at the Institute for Advanced Training and Retraining of Agricultural Personnel.

The sides also considered involving Serbian specialists in educational programmes and adapting international practices to Uzbekistan’s conditions. Another area of cooperation will be professional development for agricultural workers.

The partnership is expected to expand professional training opportunities, improve specialists’ practical skills and accelerate the adoption of innovative approaches in agriculture.

Developing international ties in agricultural education is seen as one way to improve workforce skills and promote modern farming methods.
