Uzbekistan to sell state stakes in three hotels

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Uzbekistan is planning to sell controlling stakes in three hotels in Tashkent, Samarkand and Bukhara to foreign investors in 2012-2013.

These objects were included to programme of privatization of the state property for 2012-2013, which was approved by the President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov.

In particular, Uzbekistan intends to sell 78.23% state assets in Otel Uzbekistan LLC in Tashkent by the end of 2012.

The Government of Uzbekistan is planning to sell 100% stake in Afrosyob Palas in Samarkand city and Bukhara Hotel Complex in Bukhara. All three objects are owned by Uzbektourism national company.
