Uzbekistan increases electricity production by 8.98%

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) - Uzbekistan increased electricity generation by 8.98% in January-May 2021 compared to the same period in 2020.

In the reporting period, according to the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan, the country’s enterprises generated about 28.81 billion kWh of electricity.

Also, in January-May, Uzbekistan produced about 13.66 million Gcal of heat, which is 1.73% more compared to the same period in 2020.
