Uzbekistan Honors 14 Centenarians With Shukhrat Medal

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev awarded the Shukhrat Medal to 14 citizens over 100 years old in connection with the 35th anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the presidential press service reported.

Under a decree signed on 22 August 2026, the recipients include Zhangil Agzamova from the Buka district of Tashkent region, Khayri Alimova from the Uchtepa district of Tashkent, Mukhtor Dadajonov from the Shahrikhan district of Andijan region, and Saodat Yorkulova from the Chiroqchi district of Kashkadarya region.

The list of awardees also includes Menglikhol Jurayeva from the Boysun district of Surkhandarya region, Ibokhon Kosimova from the Toshloq district of Ferghana region, Narzi Kurbanov from the Payaryk district of Samarkand region, and Ahmadjon Mallabayev from the Uchkurgan district of Namangan region.

Medals were additionally conferred on Umit Medetova from the city of Nukus in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, Ravshan Mukhamadiyeva from the Saykhunabad district of Syrdarya region, Hakim Rajabov from the Khatirchi district of Navoiy region, and Barno Rajabova from the Vabkent district of Bukhara region.

The award list concludes with Bakposhsha Sopoyeva from the Gurlan district of Khorezm region and Salomat Uralova from the Dustlik district of Jizzakh region.
