Uzbekistan Discusses Cooperation With RAK Ceramics

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan’s ambassador Umid Shodiev held talks with Abdulla Massaad, Chief Executive Officer of RAK Ceramics, one of the world’s largest ceramic producers, to discuss prospects for expanding investment cooperation and developing the construction materials industry in the country.

During the talks, the sides considered issues related to the production of high value-added goods, the introduction of modern technologies, and strengthening business ties between Uzbekistan and the international company.

Participants were briefed on ongoing economic reforms in Uzbekistan, as well as favorable conditions for foreign investors and the country’s potential in the construction materials sector.

Abdulla Massaad noted the dynamic development of Uzbekistan’s economy and said large-scale construction and infrastructure projects are increasing the country’s investment attractiveness. He expressed the company’s interest in developing mutually beneficial cooperation with Uzbekistan.

Following the talks, the two sides agreed to further work out specific areas of investment cooperation and continue dialogue on the implementation of joint projects.
