Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — A delegation from Uzbekistan met with the management of South Korean technology company PROTOTIE Co., Ltd. in Seoul to discuss promoting Uzbek IT solutions on international markets and supporting local technology companies in entering foreign markets. The Ministry of Digital Technologies of Uzbekistan reported this.
The delegation was led by Deputy Minister of Digital Technologies Jamol Maksudov. Jakhongir Rajabov, Executive Director of IT Park Uzbekistan, and other representatives of the organization also attended the meeting. The South Korean side was represented by Prototie CEO Park Seung-hyun.
The parties discussed cooperation in promoting Uzbekistan’s digital solutions in the markets of the Republic of Korea and Malaysia, supporting IT Park Uzbekistan resident companies in entering international markets, developing B2B ties and IT outsourcing, and attracting specialists.
Prototie specializes in AI-powered talent-matching solutions, IT outsourcing, talent management and assisting companies in entering international markets. The company is developing the PROTIE AI platform, which matches companies with specialists based on professional experience, qualifications and other criteria.
Since January 2026, Prototie has been an IT Park Uzbekistan resident and has a representative office in Uzbekistan. One of the company’s areas of activity is promoting local digital products in foreign markets.
In particular, Prototie cooperates with UZINFOCOM and promotes the MyID Face and MyID Palm solutions in Korea and Malaysia. These include biometric identification and palm-based payment technologies, Video Analytics, AI-powered queue management solutions, the Muxlisa AI voice assistant, the DMED digital healthcare platform and Smart City monitoring solutions.
The meeting reviewed opportunities to expand this work and promote solutions developed by other IT Park Uzbekistan residents through Prototie’s network of local partners, business development tools and direct contacts with potential customers.
The parties separately discussed support for Uzbek technology companies seeking to enter the Korean and Malaysian markets, including market research, product localization, customer and partner searches, B2B meetings and assistance with negotiations.
The participants also considered launching pilot projects and Proof of Concept programs for UZINFOCOM solutions in cooperation with financial institutions, retail and healthcare companies, government bodies and other potential customers in Korea and Malaysia.
In addition, the meeting addressed cooperation in IT outsourcing, the search for and recruitment of specialists, AI-based matching and professional education involving IT specialists from Uzbekistan. Possible formats of cooperation included business missions, demo days, webinars and workshops.
Following the meeting, the parties identified areas for further cooperation, including promoting IT products on international markets, supporting the export activities of IT Park Uzbekistan residents, developing B2B cooperation and implementing joint pilot projects.
