Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- State companies Uzbekinvest and Uztelecom raised about 47.36 billion soums during the initial public offering (IPO), the press service of the Uzbekistan Stock Exchange said in a statement.
On 15 December 2023, the IPO of Uzbekinvest and Uztelecom was successfully completed at Uzbekistan Stock Exchange.
During the IPO of Uzbekinvest, 247 applications were submitted, and the requested amount reached 18.13 billion soums. Of this amount, 100 applications were successfully executed for a total amount of 14.11 billion soums.
About 70.27% of the outstanding shares were allocated to institutional investors, while the remaining 29.73% were allocated to retail investors.
As part of the IPO of Uztelecom, 10,950 applications were submitted, and the requested amount reached 43.6 billion soums. Of this amount, 10,950 applications were successfully executed for a total amount of 33.25 billion soums.
It should be noted that 60% of the outstanding shares were distributed to corporate and institutional investors, and 40% to retail investors.
