US Trade Representative to visit Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — US Trade Representative Jamieson Greer will visit Uzbekistan on a working visit in the coming days, the office of the United States Trade Representative announced.

During the trip, the US official plans to hold meetings with President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Head of the Presidential Administration Saida Mirziyoyeva, and Deputy Prime Minister Jamshid Khodjaev.

The talks are expected to focus primarily on issues concerning the further development of trade and economic cooperation between the two countries. According to the statement from the US side, the meeting participants will discuss the formation of "fair, balanced, and mutually beneficial trade relations" between Uzbekistan and the United States.

The upcoming visit will continue the bilateral dialogue initiated earlier this year. In February 2026, Jamieson Greer held talks with Shavkat Mirziyoyev in Washington, during which the parties reviewed prospects for expanding trade, attracting investment, and strengthening the economic partnership.
