Ukraine’s Borshchahivskiy Plant Explores Uzbek Projects
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan and Ukraine's Borshchahivskiy Chemical and Pharmaceutical Plant discussed prospects for expanding cooperation in the pharmaceutical sector.
The meeting took place with the participation of Abdulla Azizov, Director of the Agency for Development of the Pharmaceutical Industry under the Ministry of Health of Uzbekistan.
The parties reviewed opportunities to localize the production of pharmaceutical products in Uzbekistan, introduce modern technologies, and implement new investment projects.
Azizov emphasized Uzbekistan's openness to foreign investors and its readiness to provide support for new initiatives in the pharmaceutical industry.
According to Azizov, developing mutually beneficial cooperation remains a priority direction in interacting with foreign companies.
Following the meeting, the two sides agreed to continue working toward establishing manufacturing operations, exchanging technology, and carrying out prospective investment projects.
Further cooperation is expected to focus on expanding ties between the pharmaceutical companies of both countries and developing new manufacturing initiatives in Uzbekistan.
