Two people died in an accident in Tashkent

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Two people died as a result of a traffic accident on Makhtumkuli Street in Yashnabad district of Tashkent. This was reported by the press service of the Central Internal Affairs Directorate of Tashkent.

On 9 October, at about 20:30, a BMW car flew into the oncoming lane at high speed, overcoming the dividing curb.

The BMW car landed on the Nexia-3 and then rolled over. The car also damaged Nexia-3 and Lacetti cars.

The Tashkent police department notes that the driver and passenger of the Nexia-3, on which the BMW landed, died as a result of the accident.

A criminal case has been initiated under part 3 of article 266 of the Criminal Code of Uzbekistan (violation of traffic safety rules or the operation of vehicles resulting in human casualties). An investigation is underway.
