Suwon sign Geynrikh

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- AFC Champions League Group H hopefuls Suwon Bluewings have strengthened their side ahead of their continental opener against Australia’s Sydney FC away on March 2 by signing Uzbekistan international Alexander Geynrikh on Friday.

The club said that they have roped in the Pakhtakor striker on a year-long loan deal.

He impressed the Koreans when he scored two goals in the third-place playoff against Korea Republic during the AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2011™.

He has played 58 matches for the national team and scored 22 goals.
