Savdogar Bank’s assets reach 165.8bn soums

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Joint-stock commercial bank Savdogar (Savdogar Bank) said its assets made up 165.8 billion soums on the result of the first half of 2009 or grew by 30.48% year-on-year.

Main income-bearing assets were loans to clients, share of which comprised 97.39% of income-bearing assets of the bank.

The bank’s loan portfolio reached 106.8 billion soums in the reporting period and 49.61% of loans were issued to industry and agriculture sectors.

Own capital of Savdogar Bank grew 29.39% year-on-year in the first half of 2009 to 15.2 billion soums.

Savdogar Bank is medium-size bank. The bank holds 1.13% of banking sector assets, 1.35% of deposits and 0.73% of capital.
