Russian President to arrive in Uzbekistan today

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- President of Russia Dmitriy Medvedev will arrive with a state visit to Uzbekistan later today on the invitation of the President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov.

During the two-day visit, the sides will consider issues of expansion of Uzbek-Russian cooperation, as well as regional and international issues of mutual interest.

Signing of a number of bilateral documents aimed at further development of cooperation between the two states in various spheres is planned.
