Raiffeisen Bank Joins Uzbekistan’s Capital Market “Regulatory Sandbox”
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Raiffeisen Bank International AG has joined a special legal regime on Uzbekistan’s capital market, the press service of the National Agency for Prospective Projects (NAPP) reported.
The bank has been registered by NAPP as a participant in the “Regulatory Sandbox” for the capital market. The Austrian bank became the sixth participant in this initiative.
Raiffeisen Bank will act as a foreign nominal holder, providing clients with the ability to store and conduct settlements for Uzbek securities acquired through the Uzbek Republican Currency Exchange and the Uzbekistan Stock Exchange.
