President of Uzbekistan to visit Belarus on official visit
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, will pay an official visit to Belarus on 8–9 July 2026 at the invitation of the President of the Republic of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko.
In accordance with the program of the stay in Minsk, high-level negotiations are scheduled, during which the parties will discuss the further expansion of the Uzbek-Belarusian multifaceted partnership.
Primary attention will be paid to the issues of increasing mutual trade turnover and deepening industrial cooperation in agriculture, mechanical engineering, pharmaceuticals, light industry, food processing, and other sectors of the economy.
The agenda of the meeting also includes matters regarding the expansion of cultural and humanitarian exchange programs between the two countries.
Following the summit, the signing of a substantial package of bilateral documents across priority areas of cooperation is anticipated.
On the eve of the official visit, Minsk will host the third Interregional Forum, featuring delegations from various regions alongside representatives of the business communities of both Uzbekistan and Belarus.
