Parkent District Secures US$15 Million Investment Deals in China

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The delegation of Parkent district participated in the third Uzbekistan–China Interregional Cooperation Forum held in the People’s Republic of China.

During the event, district governor Elmurod Pulatov held a series of meetings and negotiations with representatives of Chinese companies and investors.

As a result of the talks, investment agreements totaling US$15 million were reached.

The planned projects are expected to focus on the creation of modern production facilities, generation of new jobs, expansion of export potential, and improvement of economic activity in the region.

The cooperation is also seen as a factor in strengthening the investment attractiveness of Parkent district and further developing the regional economy.
