Pakhtakor to face Moldavia’s Sherif in semifinal

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Pakhtakor Tashkent will play against Moldavia’s Sherif in semifinal of the CIS and Baltic Cup on 23 January.

The Uzbek club played 1-1 draw with the Lithuanian champions Ekranas and moved to semifinal after penalty shootouts (4-2).

Sherif also registered goalless draw with Latvia’s Vintspils. Moldavian club won the match 5-4 after penalty shootouts.
