Natural gas production in Muynak district

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - Drilling operations at well No. 64 of Sharkiy Berdak field of the Ustyurt gas production department have been completed. This well is located on the shore of the natural lake "Uchsoy" in Muynak district.

As a result of perforation work in the intervals of 2050-2056 m, 2234-2237 m, an industrial gas inflow with a daily flow rate of 100 thousand cubic meters was obtained.

The Sharkiy Berdak gas condensate field is located in Muynak region of the Republic of Karakalpakstan and was commissioned in 2002.
