Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Zafar Khashimov, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Anglesey Food, has for the first time indicated the possibility of Korzinka going public through an IPO. The entrepreneur shared this in an interview with Bloomberg.

According to Khashimov, founder of the Korzinka supermarket chain, he is considering an initial public offering of shares but has not yet decided on the timeline.

“Risks in Uzbekistan are quite manageable,” Khashimov noted. “And the changes that have taken place in the country seem irreversible,” Bloomberg quoted him as saying.

The company added that various development scenarios are currently under review, and it is therefore too early to provide specific comments regarding a potential IPO.
