Khorezm Hotels Receive 7.24 Billion Soums in Subsidies

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Ten hotels in Uzbekistan’s Khorezm region received subsidies totalling 7.244 billion soums in 2026 as part of measures to develop the region’s tourism potential, the Tourism Committee of Uzbekistan said.

The largest amounts were allocated to Khiva Residence Hotel, which received 2.64 billion soums, and Parvoz, which received 2.36 billion soums. Turkezm received 580 million soums, Kamil Palace received 500 million soums and Ibrohim Xo‘ja received 400 million soums.

Other recipients included Sahro, which received 300 million soums; Farohat ona, 200 million; Saroy Khiva, 150 million; Nova, 60 million; and Sherline, 54 million soums.

One result of the financial support was the opening of Ibrohim Xo‘ja hotel. It began operating ahead of Uzbekistan’s 35th anniversary of state independence.

The subsidies are intended to further develop hotel infrastructure in Khorezm region and create conditions for expanding the region’s tourism potential.

The financial support measures are also aimed at helping provide more comfortable conditions for tourists and supporting entrepreneurial initiatives in the tourism sector.
