Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- On 23 September 2020, within the framework of the International Forum KAZAN DIGITAL WEEK - 2020, a round table "Smart city: experience of innovative development of transport infrastructure and urban mobility" was held. The initiator and moderator of the round table is the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin.
The round table was attended by the mayors of Nur-Sultan, Chisinau, Sukhumi, large cities of China and Turkey, as well as mayors of the largest Russian cities. Each mayor made a presentation on the achievements in the creation of the "Smart City" and transport infrastructure.
Tashkent was represented by Sardor Abdullayev, deputy khokim of the city of Tashkent for the implementation of information technologies - head of the Department of Digital Development. Greeting the participants, Abdullaev spoke about the creation of the Digital Tashkent complex, containing geoservices based on space images and the Situational Center, which unites city services: the Ministry of Emergencies, ambulance, road safety, municipal assets, air purity control (data from sensors, registering, including microparticles) and much more. He also said that at present the technical task of the project has been developed, the project itself is being worked out with Russian colleagues.
“Digital Tashkent” will organically include two projects: “Our Tashkent”, which unites all city services and navigation around the city, and “People's Control” - for the active participation of Tashkent residents in city life
