The session brought together government representatives from across the region, including Russia’s First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov and Uzbekistan’s Deputy Prime Minister Jamshid Khodjaev. In total, 13 thematic sessions are scheduled as part of the forum.

More than 30 countries are expected to be represented at the exhibition, with the total number of participating companies exceeding 1,500.

During the plenary session, Denis Manturov stated that the portfolio of joint projects between Russia and Kazakhstan exceeds 170 initiatives worth about 3.9 trillion rubles and provides for the creation of more than 60,000 jobs. He also noted that more than 3,000 enterprises with Russian capital operate in Uzbekistan, implementing over 150 projects with a total value of around 4 trillion rubles.

Jamshid Khodjaev подчеркнул that the exhibition has become an important platform for dialogue between government and business and reflects growing interest in Central Asia as a region of industrial growth and technological development. According to him, Uzbekistan is implementing more than 330 joint projects with Russia and countries of the region totaling over US$47 billion.

He added that the share of industry in Uzbekistan’s GDP has reached 27%, while total trade with Central Asian countries and Russia approached US$22 billion in 2025.

Priority areas for development include mechanical engineering, chemical and petrochemical industries, energy, digitalization, textiles, pharmaceuticals, and biotechnology.

According to the Russian side, trade turnover between Russia and Uzbekistan could reach US$14 billion by the end of 2026.

In 2025, the figure stood at US$11.5 billion, increasing by more than 12%.

Forum participants note that “Innoprom. Central Asia” continues to strengthen its status as a key platform for developing industrial cooperation, technology exchange, and new economic ties in the region.
