Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — A customs warehouse for cargo arriving from Uzbekistan has opened at South Korea’s Incheon International Airport, with a delegation from Ferghana Region attending the opening ceremony.
The warehouse was established by Koreta at the initiative of Ferghana entrepreneurs Abduvakhid Kodirov and Javokhirbek Valiev. It is designed to receive cargo from Uzbekistan, store it while customs procedures are completed and then dispatch it to its final destination.
The new logistics facility covers 1,000 square metres and has been equipped with the necessary conditions for storing cargo in accordance with established requirements.
The facility provides an additional logistics option for Uzbek exporters, including businesses from Ferghana Region. The warehouse is expected to simplify deliveries of Uzbek products to the South Korean market and improve the overall logistics chain.
The new infrastructure is also expected to contribute to higher exports of Uzbek products to South Korea.
