Gas supply improving in Jizzakh

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Jizzakhgaztaminot company is completing the work to prepare the system of gas supply and distribution as well as other engineering constructions to the autumn-winter season, UzA reported.

According to the company, 15 km of gas pipelines will be renewed and 10 km of gas supply systems will be reconstructed.

To date, almost 80% of the planned work has been completed. In particular, technical check of 3,375 gas distribution points was held and 12 of them were fully renewed.

“Defects in pipes can often be a cause for the reduction of gas pressure in some districts,” chief engineer of Jizzakhgaztaminot Erkin Imomov said.

“To prevent such cases, we checked the gas supply system in all districts, including 112.5 km of gas supply systems, and eliminated all problems.”
