Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan receives copies of credentials from new Algerian Ambassador

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov, has received copies of credentials from the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria to the Republic of Uzbekistan, Jamila Achour.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed the implementation of agreements reached following the official visit of Uzbekistan's Foreign Minister to Algeria in June of this year.

Particular attention was paid to the issues of further expanding bilateral cooperation. The interlocutors reaffirmed their mutual readiness to step up interaction across trade, economic, investment, educational, cultural, and other promising fields.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Bakhtiyor Saidov wished the new Algerian Ambassador a successful and fruitful diplomatic mission in Uzbekistan.
