First Ladies of Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Azerbaijan Visit Altyn Balalyk Center

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — First Lady of Uzbekistan Ziroat Mirziyoyeva, together with First Lady of Kyrgyzstan Aigul Japarova and First Lady of Azerbaijan Mehriban Aliyeva, visited the Altyn Balalyk rehabilitation center to learn about its operations and educational programs for children.

During the visit, the distinguished guests toured the complex, attended educational workshops, and met with the children. A cultural program featuring performance sets by the "Shattyk" national dance ensemble and an ensemble of young komuz players was organized in their honor.

The guests were also presented with an exhibition of clay and felt handicrafts created by students of the "Akylman" Presidential Lyceum for Gifted Children.

The First Ladies subsequently visited the beach zone and an art gallery featuring works by young artists, including representatives from Uzbekistan who won international children's art competitions held in Kyrgyzstan.

One of the highlight events of the visit was a ceremony marking the placement of the final element onto a felt panel entitled "Tree of Friendship," symbolizing the bond between the peoples of Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Azerbaijan.

At the conclusion of the program, the First Lady of Kyrgyzstan presented Ziroat Mirziyoyeva with an ooz komuz, a traditional Kyrgyz musical instrument.
