Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- In January - September 2020, farms of all categories produced 2.07 million tons of fruits and berries in the Republic, which amounted to 103.9% compared to the corresponding period of 2019.
In comparison with other categories of farms, the largest volume of fruit and berry production was recorded in dehkan farms of 1,268.4 thousand tons or 61.3% of the total volume of cultivation.
In the current period, compared to the same period last year, there is an increase of 4.4% in farms, 1.6% in dehkan farms, and 79.9% in organizations engaged in agricultural activities.
The largest share in the total volume of fruit and berry cultivation falls on the Andijan region (20.2%). At the same time, high rates were recorded in Ferghana (14.0%), Samarkand (13.9%), Bukhara (10.4 %) and Namangan (9.0 %) regions.
