Electrified ring railway Namangan - Andijan - Margilan – Qoqand opens

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Today, on 30 August, at 09:00, an opening ceremony of the electrified ring railway Namangan - Andijan - Margilan - Qoqand was held.

The solemn ceremony was attended by acting. Chairman of Uzbekistan Temir Yollari H. Hasilov, heads of railway departments and divisions, guests - activists and honorary elders of the Fergana Valley, as well as media representatives.

The event continues with a trip along the ring railway line. The participants of the celebration became the first passengers of the electrified ring railway in the Fergana Valley.
