Delegation of Uzbekistan take part in meeting of IMFC

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- A delegation of Uzbekistan headed by Deputy Prime Minister Jamshid Kuchkarov took part in an opening of the plenary session of one of the central bodies in the structure of the International Monetary Fund, the International Monetary and Financial Committee, on 14 October in Washington (the United States).

The participants of the event discussed development of the world economy, prospects of expanding the scale of global trade, ensuring sustainable and balanced economic growth and well-being of people, the press service of the Uzbek Foreign Ministry said.

They also considered ways to solve problems that hinder the intensification of international cooperation in the field of finance and investment.
