Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Consul General of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Novosibirsk Yusup Kabulzhanov and the Commissioner for the Protection of Entrepreneurs’ Rights in Novosibirsk region Nikolay Mamulat held a meeting during which issues of investment and trade activities, expansion of economic cooperation, implementation of priority projects were discussed, Dunyo news reported.
At the meeting, areas such as agriculture, light industry and tourism were identified as promising areas.
According to the information of the site of the business ombudsman of Novosibirsk region, the parties noted the good-neighborly nature of relations between Uzbekistan and Russia, emphasized the importance of their further development in key areas.
In recent years, indicators of mutual trade are growing, new joint projects are being implemented. Between the regions of Uzbekistan and Novosibirsk region developed cooperation in the field of labor relations, education and culture.
At the meeting, special attention was paid to developing new proposals for deepening investment cooperation. It was emphasized that, despite the pandemic, since the beginning of the year, mutual contacts between the business circles of the two countries have intensified, including through modern information technologies.
In addition, participants exchanged views on working with appeals, the importance of improving the regulatory framework governing economic activities.
In conclusion, the parties agreed on a more active development of existing relations, including the possible holding of intersubject meetings through video conference.
