Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Chinese businesses have expressed interest in purchasing silk thread and silk floss produced in Uzbekistan, following discussions with representatives of the Uzbekipaksanoat Association.
The talks focused on potential supplies of Uzbek silk products to China and opportunities to expand trade cooperation between businesses in the two countries.
The meeting was attended by Rashid Abdullayev, Chairman of the Uzbekipaksanoat Association, and Miryashin Sagatov, First Deputy Chairman of its Board.
During the negotiations, the Chinese delegation outlined its intention to purchase Uzbek silk products.
The participants also explored opportunities to establish mutually beneficial cooperation, arrange product deliveries and further strengthen trade relations.
Specific purchase volumes and potential delivery schedules were not disclosed.
