Ban on hiring citizens without temporary or permanent registration lifted

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- The Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan approved the law “On introducing amendments and addenda to some legislative acts of the Republic of Uzbekistan, aimed at improving the mechanisms for ensuring public order”.

The law abolishes the ban on hiring citizens without temporary or permanent registration.

It also excludes the employer’s responsibility for hiring citizens living without temporary or permanent registration, or accounting at the place of stay.

The relevant amendments have been made to the Administrative Responsibility Code and the Labor Code.
