ANDRITZ to Supply Diaper Production Line to Tashkent
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — International technology group ANDRITZ has received an order from ATCO Hygienics to supply a new baby diaper production line for its facility in Tashkent, according to a company statement.
The order is included in ANDRITZ’s order intake for the first quarter of 2026. Commissioning of the production line is scheduled for the end of 2026.
The new line will produce a wide range of baby diapers under the premium PERLA brand.
The project is aimed at meeting growing demand for hygiene products in Central Asia.
The equipment will be equipped with modern converting systems designed to ensure high productivity, operational flexibility and ease of use.
ATCO Hygienics is a subsidiary of Turkey-based Aim Global Consumer Goods and is one of the producers of hygiene products in the Central Asian region.
Chairman of Aim Global Ali Akyuz said demand for baby diapers in the region continues to grow, and the launch of the new line will help expand production capacity and strengthen the company’s market presence.
Managing Director of ANDRITZ Diatec Ettore Paolini said the company is pleased with the selection of its technological solution and looks forward to further cooperation with ATCO Hygienics.
ANDRITZ provides equipment, systems and digital solutions for various industries, including pulp and paper, metals, hydropower and environmental technologies.
