Andijan Leads Uzbekistan Clothing Output in 2026
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In January–February 2026, large enterprises in Uzbekistan produced clothing worth 4.1 trillion soums, according to the National Statistics Committee.
The Andijan region led in production volume, with output totaling 1.8 trillion soums. Significant figures were also recorded in the Tashkent region with 524.6 billion soums, Namangan region with 438.6 billion soums, and Fergana region with 371.4 billion soums. In Tashkent city, clothing production reached 310.3 billion soums.
Other regions reported considerably lower figures. Output amounted to 158 billion soums in the Samarkand region, 117.4 billion soums in the Bukhara region, 89 billion soums in the Kashkadarya region, and 83.1 billion soums in the Syrdarya region. Production reached 77.7 billion soums in the Navoi region, 62.4 billion soums in the Khorezm region, and 35.8 billion soums in the Republic of Karakalpakstan.
The lowest figures were recorded in the Jizzakh region with 19.3 billion soums and the Surkhandarya region with 10.4 billion soums.
Overall, the Andijan region ranked first in clothing production in Uzbekistan by a wide margin during the first two months of 2026.
