Agrobank’s aggregate capital grows by 20.9% in Jan-Jul

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Agrobank open joint-stock commercial bank, former Pakhta Bank, increased its aggregate capital by 20.9% compared to the beginning of 2009 to 158.7 billion soums as of 1 August 2009.

The share of the authorized capital in the structure of aggregate capital made up 44.1%, the bank said.

Total assets of the Agrobank reached 1.541 trillion soums, of which 83% were income bearing assets.

As of 1 August 2009, the credit investments of Agrobank grew 71.8% in January-July 2009 to 1.254 trillion soums. Share of credit investments in total assets of the Agrobank made up 81.4%.

Agrobank’s resource base grew by 66.1% to 1.34 trillion soums and balance of population’s resources increased by 15.6% in January-July 2009.
