AGMK to implement projects for US$2.457bn

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Almalyk Mining and Metallurgy Combine will implement 17 investment projects in 2015-2019, the press service of the combine.

The projects will be implemented within the programme on ensuring structural reforms, modernization and diversification of production for 2015-2019.

The program was approved with the decree of the President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov from 4 March 2015.

AGMK will implement 12 projects within new construction and five projects directed at modernization and reconstruction of existing projects.

Total project costs are US$2.457 billion. The projects will be financed due to own resources of AGMK, loan of the Fund for Reconstruction and Development of Uzbekistan, as well as loans of commercial banks.
