Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — On 21 May 2025, Munira Aminova, Advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, held a meeting with John Mikala Kvistad, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Norway to Uzbekistan.
The two sides discussed prospects for enhancing bilateral cooperation across several priority areas, including environmental protection, climate change, migration, the textile industry, and fisheries.
The Norwegian side expressed its readiness to share experience in regional cooperation among the five Nordic countries and to support the advancement of joint scientific and educational initiatives.
The talks reaffirmed the strong mutual interest in expanding the Uzbekistan–Norway dialogue and implementing concrete projects aimed at strengthening partnership in key sectors.
