22-year-old resident of Zaammin district detained for theft

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- In Zaamin district of Jizzakh region, on 16 February, an unknown person entered the house of citizen, who lives in Khalkobod makhalla, and stole jewelry worth a total of 7,300,000 soums, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan said.

As a result of the measures taken, the 22-year-old woman, who lives in Nurlikent community of the Zaamin district, was detained for committing theft.

A criminal case was initiated, the investigation is underway.
