Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov, took part in the 18th meeting of the Cooperation Council between Uzbekistan and the European Union, which was held today in Luxembourg.

“Today in Luxembourg, we successfully held the 18th meeting of the Uzbekistan–European Union Cooperation Council. During the meeting, our shared commitment to further deepening the multifaceted partnership between Uzbekistan and the EU was reaffirmed,” the Foreign Minister wrote on his Telegram channel.

According to him, the parties discussed ways to strengthen political dialogue, enhance trade and investment cooperation, and promote sustainable development and regional connectivity.

“We are confident that the results of this session will give new momentum to the expansion of our cooperation and the building of a stronger and more forward-looking partnership based on shared values. Uzbekistan remains committed to developing dynamic relations with the EU, founded on mutual respect, trust, and a shared pursuit of peace and prosperity,” Bakhtiyor Saidov emphasized.
