Visa has no plans to issue co-branded cards with UzCard

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Visa does not plan to issue co-branded cards with UzCard system soon.

The Visa said in a statement that it does not confirm the message in the mass media about the forthcoming entry of the UzCard-Visa co-branded card into the Uzbek market.

Also, the company stated that Visa and UzCard did not sign an agreement on co-branded cards.

Visa cooperates with financial institutions and business partners in Uzbekistan on a number of directions related to development of non-cash payments. The creation of a co-branded card is not among these areas, Visa stressed.
