Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — The Uzbek Commodity Exchange (UZEX) reported solid growth in key financial indicators for the first quarter of 2026, according to its published data.

Net profit reached 122.1 billion soums, marking an increase of 21.6 percent compared to the same period in 2025.

Net revenue rose from 125.6 billion to 140.4 billion soums, while interest income also increased, climbing from 43.0 billion to 52.8 billion soums.

Total assets of the exchange reached 6.2 trillion soums, up 12.6 percent year-on-year. The exchange’s capital stood at 435.9 billion soums, reflecting a 14.7 percent increase compared to the previous year.

Retained earnings showed particularly strong growth, rising by 39.1 percent to reach 141.8 billion soums.
