UZEX increases net profit by 44% in the first quarter

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- The net profit of the Uzbek Commodity Exchange (UZEX) for the first quarter of 2024 amounted to 82.8 billion soums, which is 44.1% more than in the same period in 2023.

According to the quarterly report of the exchange, net revenue increased by 12.7% and reached 106.8 billion soums.

UZEX assets increased by 8.3% in January-March 2024 compared to the same period in 2023, amounting to 4.7 trillion. soums

At the end of the first quarter, the exchange’s own capital reached 209.5 billion soums, which is 31.5% more than in the same period in 2023.
