Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbek manufacturer TEXNOPARK has signed a contract to supply lifts for a 17-storey business centre in Vilnius, Lithuania, marking the company's entry into its second European export market after Estonia.

The agreement was concluded with Lithuanian company UAB Baltic Lift Service, with delivery of the equipment scheduled for late December.

Under the contract, TEXNOPARK will supply lifts with a load capacity of 1,000 kg and an operating speed of 1.6 metres per second.

The equipment carries CE certification and will feature fire-resistant telescopic doors designed to allow more efficient use of space within the lift shaft.

Lithuania becomes the second European country to receive TEXNOPARK lift equipment, following the company's earlier expansion into Estonia.

TEXNOPARK previously signed a contract to supply panoramic lifts with glass shafts, along with the necessary metal structures, for a project in Tallinn.

The new agreement with UAB Baltic Lift Service expands the geographic reach of the Uzbek manufacturer's European deliveries.

The Vilnius project also represents a further step in TEXNOPARK's efforts to strengthen its position in the international lift equipment market.
