Uzbekistan’s Sherzodova, Zakirova Win World Championship Silver

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan national team representatives Shohsanam Sherzodova and Nilufar Zakirova won silver medals at the World Canoe and Kayak Championships in Poznan, Poland.

The Uzbek duo finished second in the women’s 200-metre final to claim silver at the world championships.

The medal was Uzbekistan’s second at the current world championships. A day earlier, Artur Guliyev won silver in the men’s 200-metre event in the same discipline.
