Uzbekistan to host symphony concert at the Great Wall of China
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — The Great Wall Symphony Concert, organized by the Art and Culture Development Foundation of Uzbekistan, will take place on 25 August 2026 at the foot of the Juyongguan section of the Great Wall of China in Beijing.
The event will feature performances by the world-renowned virtuoso pianist Lang Lang alongside the National Symphony Orchestra of Uzbekistan, conducted by Alibek Kabdurakhmanov.
The concert program will blend works by prominent Uzbek composers with international classical masterpieces. The audience will be treated to performances of "Taronalar Bazmi" by Anor Nazarov, the "Festive Khorezm Procession" by Suleiman Yudakov, as well as Piano Concerto No. 2.
