Uzbekistan Students Showcase New Initiatives at Forum
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) —A student forum titled “Time of New Initiatives” was held in Uzbekistan from 15 to 17 May at the International Center for Training of High-Performance Athletes in Water and Rowing Sports “WATER & ROWING.”
The event was organized by the Rossotrudnichestvo representative office in Uzbekistan and was dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the organization’s activities in the country. It was supported by the Public Council under Rossotrudnichestvo and the Center for International Cooperation and Interaction.
Eighty students from 15 educational institutions in Tashkent and other regions of Uzbekistan took part in the final stage of the forum. Participants included authors of youth, educational, cultural, and social projects as well as active members of student communities.
The program combined educational, sports, and team-building activities. The first day focused on master classes and training sessions aimed at developing project skills and using modern digital technologies.
Experts from School 21 conducted practical workshops on the use of artificial intelligence tools in developing and promoting student initiatives. Participants were introduced to modern approaches to idea development, presentation preparation, visual design of projects, and improving project efficiency through AI technologies.
Between educational sessions, students took part in sports activities and informal meetings. The evening program included a disco, campfire discussions, and team events.
One of the highlights of the forum was a large-scale SUP race held on the second day under the guidance of the head of the SUP GO UZ club, honored athlete of Uzbekistan Alexey Mochalov.
For many students, participation in the race served not only as a sporting challenge but also as an exercise in teamwork, strengthening cooperation among participants.
On the same day, the final presentation of student initiative projects organized by Rossotrudnichestvo took place. Participants presented their ideas aimed at developing youth, educational, and humanitarian cooperation.
The forum concluded with a festive evening program and fireworks, bringing participants together in a celebratory atmosphere.
Partners of the event included the company Chernogolovka in Uzbekistan, the WATER & ROWING International Center for Training Elite Athletes, SUP GO UZ club, School 21, and the advertising and production company Allprint.
Organizers said the forum was designed to bring together active youth from different regions of the country, create a platform for experience sharing, and support the development of student projects that will later be implemented in cooperation with Rossotrudnichestvo in Uzbekistan.
Experts note that such educational platforms play an important role in youth diplomacy, student initiative support, and the expansion of humanitarian cooperation between countries.
