Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — The Uzbekistan Stock Exchange has begun drafting a new edition of its Securities Trading Rules.

The updated regulations will cover the listing and circulation of foreign securities as well as currency-denominated bonds on the exchange. Following international best practices, the revisions also plan to introduce mechanisms for temporarily suspending trading and enhance the operations of the FoP and Nego trading platforms.

The proposed changes are expected to strengthen the stock market infrastructure and further increase the transparency of exchange trading. Once finalized, the new rules will be published on the official website of the Exchange for public discussion.
