Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan Stock Exchange held a meeting with representatives of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) to discuss the implementation of Uzbekistan’s capital market reform program through 2030.

During the ADB mission, the sides reviewed current progress and key directions for the further development of the country’s financial market.

Exchange representatives presented a development strategy focused on modernizing infrastructure and introducing advanced technologies.

In particular, discussions covered the replacement of existing trading system software, the introduction of artificial intelligence-based solutions, and the launch of a platform for international financial instruments.

Special attention was also given to improving financial literacy among the population as an important factor in the sustainable development of the capital market.

Following the meeting, both sides agreed to further strengthen cooperation aimed at the consistent implementation of reforms and the achievement of Uzbekistan’s strategic capital market development goals through 2030.
