Uzbekistan receives remittances worth US$1.47 billion in 1Q

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- In January-March 2022, Uzbekistan received money transfers in the amount of US$1.47 billion, the press service of the Central Bank reported.

The regulator notes that the volume of money transfers increased by 3% or US$49 million compared to the same period in 2021.

The following systems of international transfers operate in commercial banks of Uzbekistan for individuals: Zolotaya Korona, Western Union, Contact, MoneyGram, MiGom, Unistream, RIA Money Transfer, Asia-Express, Intel Express, UPT.
