Uzbekistan increases fines for violating sanitary standards

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- From now on, for violation of sanitary legislation, sanitary standards, rules and hygiene standards, a fine of almost 7 million soums is provided.

From now on, for such an offense, citizens will be fined in the amount of 5 to 10 sizes of the basic estimated value (from 1.65 million soums to 3.3 million soums). Previously, the fine ranged from 1 to 3 sizes of basic estimated value.

Officials are subject to a fine in the amount of 15 to 20 sizes of basic estimated value (4.95 million soums to 6.6 million soums). Previously, the fine ranged from 5 to 10 sizes of basic estimated value.
